Last Updated: February 10, 2026
Introduction
Tasken.ai ("we," "our," or "us") operates an AI automation platform that helps businesses build custom AI systems to automate operations and generate revenue. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our services, including our integration with Google services through OAuth authentication.
Important: We comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy and use the minimum necessary permissions to provide our automation services. Your Google data is never sold to third parties or used for advertising purposes.
Information We Collect
2.1 Google Account Data
When you authorize Tasken.ai to access your Google services, we may collect and process the following data types based on the specific automations you configure.
From Google Drive API, this may include file metadata (such as names, creation dates, modification dates, and file types), file content that you specifically authorize us to access for your automation workflows, folder structures and organization, file permissions and sharing settings (only when required for your automations), and activity data related to files you've selected for automation.
From Gmail API, this may include email metadata (such as sender, recipient, subject lines, and timestamps), email content when required for automation workflows you configure, draft messages and sent items as needed for your specific automations, email labels, threads, and organization data, and attachment metadata when processing attachments is part of your automation.
2.2 Account and Usage Information
We may also collect registration details (such as name, email address, and company information), billing and payment information, usage analytics and platform interaction data, technical information (such as IP addresses, browser type, and device information), and support communications and correspondence.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively for the following purposes.
3.1 Core Service Delivery
We use your information to execute the specific AI automation workflows you configure and authorize, process data according to your automation rules and parameters, generate outputs, reports, and results from your automation workflows, and provide integrations between your Google services and our AI automation tools.
3.2 Platform Operations
We use your information to maintain and improve our service functionality, provide customer support and technical assistance, monitor system performance and security, and process billing and manage your account.
Limited Use Disclosure: Our use of information received from Gmail and Google Drive APIs adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What We Don't Do With Your Data
We explicitly commit to not using your Google user data for selling or transferring to third parties, advertising platforms, or data brokers; serving advertisements, including personalized or interest-based advertising; credit assessment, lending, or financial evaluation purposes; training AI models without your explicit consent; or any purpose not directly related to providing your authorized automation services.
Data Storage and Security
5.1 Security Measures
We implement enterprise-grade security measures to protect your data. These measures include data encryption at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols, encrypted and securely stored OAuth tokens, regular security assessments and monitoring, access controls limiting employee access to necessary personnel only, and secure API endpoints with authentication and authorization.
5.2 Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services. You can request data deletion at any time through your account settings. We perform automated deletion of temporary processing data within 30 days. OAuth tokens are automatically refreshed, and expired tokens are purged.
Data Sharing and Transfers
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Limited sharing occurs only in specific circumstances. This includes trusted third-party service providers that help us operate our platform (such as cloud hosting and analytics) under strict data processing agreements, legal requirements (including when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights), business transfers in the event of a merger or acquisition (with notice and continued privacy protection), and any other sharing only with your explicit consent.
Your Rights and Controls
You maintain full control over your data. You may access the data we have collected about you, correct or update inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and associated data, export your data in machine-readable format, revoke Google OAuth permissions at any time through your Google Account settings, and opt out by disabling specific automation features or data processing.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tasken.ai
or through your account settings.
OAuth Scope Justification
We request only the minimum necessary OAuth scopes to provide your requested automation services. Gmail scopes are used exclusively for email automation workflows you configure, such as sending, reading, and organizing emails according to your rules. Drive scopes are used exclusively for document automation workflows you configure, such as processing, organizing, and analyzing files you specify. Additional permissions are requested only when you enable new features that require them through incremental authorization.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your residence. We ensure adequate protection through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international transfers, compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws, and regular assessment of third-party data handling practices.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through email notification to your registered email address, prominent notice on our platform, and an updated "Last Modified" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
